Joel has over fifteen years of experience managing and supporting comprehensive, complex legal practices, including maintaining client relationships, overseeing books and records, managing human resource and staffing matters, and providing paralegal support. Joel’s work touches nearly every aspect of the firm. He believes that the key to a successful law practice is listening to clients, earning their trust, and serving their needs. His unparalleled ability to offer clients a big picture solution to their problems, while never losing sight of the details, truly allows Fluet & Huber to set itself apart.
Joel also coaches his sons in baseball and soccer, counsels special needs children in athletic endeavors, and serves on several Boards and Committees in the local community.

- Responsible for all aspects of firm management, including the maintenance of books and records, human resources and staffing, marketing and advertising structures, and the provision of all professional and technical support to attorneys.

Connie Fluet, RN, CEN Legal Nurse Consultant & Paralegal

Connie Fluet, Legal Nurse Consultant, brings degrees and expertise in both Education and in Nursing to Fluet & Huber. A registered nurse for over 16 years, Connie specialized in critical care and emergency nursing and has maintained board certification in Emergency Nursing for over 13 years. Her experience in teaching all ages from elementary school through college allows her to bridge communication between the medical and legal worlds as well as effectively communicate both legal and medical matters to our clientele. Connie continues to work in Emergency nursing and brings that unique blend of calm-in-a-crisis, no nonsense practicality to case management for client matters as well as a compassion that comes from years of caring for those injured or ill.

Josephine contributes to Fluet & Huber many years of experience as a senior level manager, backed by a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Strayer University. She is responsible for all types of paralegal support, including the establishment and management of client databases, the development of client relationships, and direct oversight of office support personnel. Jo is a tenacious self-starter, and has extensive experience in the compliance and local government arena. Prior to working with F&H, she was solely responsible for human resources, bookkeeping, profit and loss, and all client and database management at a national management-consulting firm.

Every practice group at Fluet & Huber benefits from Bianca Castro’s background; she provides a solid core of skills and assets in various areas of business administration, customer relations, logistics, and executive support. From client intake to document collection and organization, Bianca’s paralegal talent is unsurpassed. She provides research and support to F&H’s attorneys in all practice areas. Ms. Castro lends her critical thinking skills and creative problem solving to each team in the office and the firm has greatly benefited from her efficiency and activity streamlining efforts. Bianca provides Spanish-English translation for our growing number of Hispanic clients. Her presence has facilitated these relationships and helped us provide greater service to our community.

Kasey Lickey
Kasey Lickey brings F&H her considerable organizational, customer service, and administrative skills that were cultivated from her experience with several local area businesses. In addition to her accounting studies at NOVA, she has parlayed her practical business experience into skills and assets that truly benefit our firm. Kasey brings experience in a full range of administrative, management, and accounting activities. Whether she is assisting with corporate document compilation, preparing client files, managing IT matters or assisting clients, Kasey is a flexible and invaluable member of the F & H team.
Kasey continues her studies in accounting at University of Maryland University College and anticipates pursuing her CPA. The firm and our clients benefit as she shares her insights and expertise with our corporate and business law practice group as well as her ongoing contributions to all practice areas.

Agnes Nawalaniec
Intern Bookkeeper
F&H’s intern bookkeeper, Agnes Nawalaniec, has contributed substantially to the firm’s well-being. Her accounting and bookkeeping skills are exceptional. Agnes’s astute attention to detail makes her an invaluable asset to the firm. Ms. Nawalaniec manages QuickBooks, accounts payable and receivable, bill processing, invoicing, and financial reporting. She also assists in a variety of administrative and receptionist activities to help all of our F&H practice areas. As a native German and Polish speaker, Agnes provides depth to our international business group with her linguistic and cultural diversity.
